'Angrezi Medium': All you need to know about Irrfan's upcoming movie

While the audience awaits the comeback of Irrfan Khan to the big screen, he is back on the sets of the film Angrezi Medium. The actor recently wrapped up the shooting for his next venture Angrezi Medium which is a sequel to the 2017 hit film Hindi Medium. Reports suggest that Kareena Kapoor Khan and Radhika Madan will also feature in the film. Directed by Homi Adajania and produced by Dinesh Vijan, the film is set to release in 2020.

All about Angrezi Medium

After Irrfan Khan returned to India, there has been a lot of buzz around his first release after his treatment. The upcoming film is also grabbing attention because Kareena Kapoor Khan is also reported to be a part of the film. Recently actor Radhika Madan revealed through her Instagram post that Bebo was indeed in the film. Director Homi Adajania simply cannot stop thanking Irrfan Khan after the shooting for the film is over. He shared the Instagram post and where Irrfan Khan can be seen resting against the shoulder of the director. See his Instagram post:

Talking about the film, Dinesh Vijan said that the film is an emotional coming together of all the people he loved. Irrfan is best to explore the selfless quality of his acting and makes the character so endearing. For him, Angrezi Medium is pure love and he thinks that this film has made him a nicer person. Irrfan will be playing the character of a small-town guy in the movie.

Angrezi Medium first look

Irrfan Khan shared the first look of the film via his official Twitter account. Dressed in a simple kurta, Irrfan is standing in front of the sweet shop. The shop is titled Ghasiteram Mishthan Bhandar which is founded in 1990. Apparently, his character is called Mr. Champakji in the flick. Radhika will play Irrfan’s daughter. Rumours are rife that Heroine actor Kareena Kapoor Khan will also join the cast opposite Irrfan Khan.

Madan started acting in her teenage in Delhi and she got a chance to play the lead role in the soap, Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi. Radhika’s first outing in Bollywood was in Vishal Bharadwaj’s Pataakha. The film did not work well but the actor got rave reviews. Also, she won the award for being the most promising newcomer of 2018.
