Anil Kapoor honours 31 years of 'Tezaab' with gratitude and memories
The classic 80s film 'Tezaab' logged its 31st year in the film industry;actor Anil Kapoor shared fond memories of the film that reaffirmed his Bollywood career.

Anil Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit-starrer Tezaab was a trendsetter movie for the 1990s cinema. The movie completed 31 years in the film industry on Monday and actor Anil Kapoor posted an update through his Instagram story to commemorate the iconic film. The No Entry actor took a trip down memory lane and posted a collage of stills from the movie along with photos of producer Dinesh Gandhi and music composer Laxmikant of the famous Laxmikant-Pyarelal duo. Anil Kapoor dedicated the memory of Tezaab to the producer and the music composer. He wrote that this film was special as it changed his fate as an actor and also brought popularity to actor Madhuri Dixit.

Tezaab was directed by N.Chandra and it had released on November 11 in the year 1988. The music of the film includes some evergreen chartbusters like 'So Gaya Ye Jahaan' and the popular 'Ek Do Teen' which went on to become Madhuri Dixit's claim to fame. Anil Kapoor had won his first best actor award for his performance as Munna in this film, and the film went on to win several Filmfare awards.
Tezaab marked the first collaboration of the actors Anil Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit. the duo starred in many films post this film as the audiences praised their chemistry onscreen. The latest film that saw this iconic pair was Indra Kumar's Total Dhamaal which released earlier this year. Anil Kapoor had posted some candid photographs with Madhuri Dixit on Instagram in an attempt to recreate their onscreen magic.

What's next for Anil Kapoor?
The 63-year-old actor will be seen in Anees Bazmee's multi-starrer Pagalpanti. Anil Kapoor is currently filming for this movie after finishing up Mohit Suri's Malang in which he will share the screen with actors Disha Patani, Aditya Roy Kapoor and Kunal Khemmu. the actor will also star in Karan Johar's historical drama Takht which is currently in its pre-production stages.
