33 years of Mr India: Anil Kapoor on reconciling with Kishore Kumar, Laxmikant Pyarelal
In his latest Instagram post, Anil Kapoor recalls how he played the mediator between Kishore Kumar & Laxmikant Pyarelal for the song Zindagi Ki Yehi Reet Hai.

Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor took to his Instagram account to reveal some BTS incidents from his iconic movie, Mr India. movie is celebrating its 33rd year since release and h Amrish Puri and Sridevi in important roles. On occasion, Anil Kapoor shared how he mand to patch things up between Kishore Kumar and Laxmikant Pyarelal and duo went on to create beautiful melody of Zindagi Ki Yahi Reet Hai.
Anil Kapoor on Instagram posted a video of song from Mr India and revealed in caption how he wanted only Kishore Kumar voicing song Zindagi Ki Yahi Reet Hai because he could t imagine any or singer voicing it. However, due to a fallout between singer and Laxmikant Pyarelal, it was a difficult task. However, despite taking months, Anil Kapoor finally went to Kishore Kumar's residence and mand to salv beautiful partnership of composers and singer while rest became history.

Furr in caption, Anil Kapoor went on to d how song and its mess is still relevant in today's world. He also shared that song is "uplifting during se tough times", probably referring to COVID-19 pandemic. He asked everyone to be kind to each or and do right thing while ding a part of lyrics of melody, "Zindagi Ki Yehi Reet Hai

Meanwhile, Mr India has been grabbing helines once again as a remake of it is in talks. Sultan director, Ali Abbas Zafar confirmed in a tweet that he h signed a contract with Zee Studios to make a trilogy out of Mr India. In tweet, he also ded that it was a big responsibility for him to undertake this project given popularity of film. new Mr India will reportedly be set in a modern world of superheroes.

However, Kapoor family, as well as Shekhar Kapur, director of original Mr India, is against remake. In a tweet, latter said how one h asked him or mentioned to him about Mr India 2. He also mentioned how one cant use original characters or story without permission of creator of film. He h even hinted at taking legal actions against new makers.
