Anil Kapoor shares a rare gem of a throwback picture with Dilip Kumar 'Saab' on his birthday

Dilip Kumar, one of the biggest legends of Hindi cinema turned 96 today. On the occasion, celebs and politicians flooded social media with wishes for the star. Joining them was actor Anil Kapoor, who had a special way of paying homage to the icon.

Dilip Kumar, one of the biggest legends of Hindi cinema turned 96 today. Being the respected figure that he is in cinema and others, celebs and politicians flooded social media with wishes for the star. Joining them was actor Anil Kapoor, who had a special way of paying homage to the icon.

Taking to Twitter, Anil shared a rare picture of himself with the veteran actor. The also features the late legendary filmmaker Yash Chopra, who founded the famous production firm YRF. The picture seems to have been taken sometimes in the 90s for Anil looks rather young in it. Of course, he is a celebrity who has rarely aged one might argue. Dilip Saab also looks youthful and vibrant as he is sitting on a chair in a classy dark grey suit, white shirt, and striped tie. Anil, on the other hand, looked dapper in a black blazer. He also had a special message to go with the as he wrote, "Wishing the icon & all-time legend @TheDilipKumar Saab a very Happy Birthday! Thank you for all the amazing movies & memories!". Meanwhile, Amitabh Bachchan, who has worked with Dilip in many film and is a legend in his own right also had a heartfelt message for him. Taking to the micro-blogging site, he tweeted "The ultimate MASTER of his craft .. Dilip Kumar - Mohammed Yusuf Khan .. turns 96 .. prayers and duas for his good health and happiness always .. the history of Indian Cinema shall always be written as 'before Dilip Kumar and after Dilip Kumar''
