In an interview with a leading news agency, veteran Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor mentioned that he knew Karan Johar’s father, Yash Johar extremely well. He stated that he always wanted to work with Yash Johar, but it did not happen. The actor stated that he is looking forward to work with Karan. He also expressed his gratitude towards the filmmaker for giving him the opportunity to work in his upcoming directorial Takht.

Karan Johar’s Takht
The film Takht will feature an ensemble cast of Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Anil Kapoor and others. Vicky Kaushal will play the role of Aurangzeb and Ranveer Singh will play the role of Dara Shukoh. The movie will be a historical action drama. Takht will revolve around Aurangzeb and his elder brother, and their enmity caused by their lust for the coveted Mughal throne. The film is set to release on December 25, 2020. Vicky Kaushal and Ranveer Singh will share the big screen for the first time in the movie.

Anil Kapoor will be soon seen in an upcoming comedy movie Pagalpanti, directed by Anees Bazmee. The movie will feature Anil Kapoor, John Abraham, Ileana D’Cruz and others. Pagalpanti is set to release on November 22 this year. Anil will also be seen in Malang, a romantic thriller film directed by Mohit Suri. The movie features Aditya Roy Kapur and Disha Patani in the lead as well. It is set to release on February 14, 2020.
