Annu Kapoor opens up on favouritism & hypocrisy in Bollywood, says 'people are diabolic'

In an interview with a news daily, Annu Kapoor spoke about favouritism and hypocrisy in Bollywood and spilled some beans on how the industry functions.

Vidyut Jammwal’s recent tweet slamming an OTT platform for t inviting him for his film’s release has once again triggered favouritism debate in industry and recent to address issue is actor Annu Kapoor. In an interview with a news daily, Annu Kapoor spoke about ‘undeniable’ favouritism that exists in industry and remarked that favouritism, hypocrisy, corruption have always been an integral part of Indian society. Adding to same, Annu Kapoor mentioned that expecting a genuine and fair play in film industry would be like living in a fool’s paradise.

Backing his claims, Annu Kapoor explained that ‘y’ have money power and people have option but to dance to ir tunes, without arguing or reasoning. Adding to same, Annu Kapoor remarked that world is full of diabolic people and at this juncture, y’re only scared of coronavirus. Elaborating his views on revival of ‘Insider vs Outsider’ debate post-Sushant Singh Rajput’s demise, Annu Kapoor explained that people eir ‘build temples for ir favourite film stars or y start hating m to extent that y often pass verdicts to prosecute target’. actor also blamed media for triggering speculations. Annu Kapoor furr labelled nepotism as ‘patron bestowed upon in politics or business world’.

Vidyut Jammwal invites controversy

Recently, Disney Hoststar bought premiere rights of seven Hindi films, which includes Laxmmi Bomb, Bhuj: Pride of India, Sadak 2, Big Bull, Khuda Haafiz, Dil Bechara and Lootcase. Soon after Vidyut Jammwal expressed his displeasure over issue, Bollywood celebrities like Tanushree Dutta, Genelia D'Souza, Aahana Kumra and Kangana Ranaut backed actor and expressed ir disappointment on social media.
