Arjun Kapoor and Ranveer Singh: The duo prove they are BFFs

Arjun Kapoor and Ranveer Singh were seen together in their 2014 film Gunday. After the movie, the two seem to have stayed in touch, giving fans friendship goals

Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor shared the screen space in the 2014 release Gunday. The movie failed to create magic at the box-office, however, Box Office India termed the movie as a Semi-hit. The movie may not have done well commercially but the bonding between Arjun Kapoor and Ranveer Singh in the movie is something that their fans cherish. Reportedly, since the movie, the two are known as Bollywood's best buddies.

In a recent interview with a media publication, Arjun spoke about his long-lasting friendship with Ranveer Singh. Arjun discarded all the rumours regarding the competition and said that his friendship has not been affected by competition. He further added that he has known Ranveer Singh for years and their friendship is beyond them being actors. 

Ranveer Singh also opened up about their friendship. He believes that it is not difficult to stay friends if your friendships are honest, and go beyond work. He also believes that some friendships happen when you are working on a film together and then eventually you move on in life - while some friendships stay, some fizzle out. He reportedly believes that no one stays in touch constantly.

Ranveer recently participated in exchanges with fans on Twitter. In a chat session, someone asked Ranveer Singh about Arjun Kapoor and when the two will be coming back together. To that, Ranveer replied with the following tweet:

On the work front

Arjun Kapoor is gearing up for his upcoming film Panipat. The movie will also be featuring Sanjay Dutt and Kriti Sanon. The film is based on the third battle of Panipat which reportedly took place on January 14, 1761 between the Marathas and the King of Afghanistan, Ahmad Shah Abdali. The movie is directed by Ashutosh Gowariker.

Ranveer Singh is all set to portray the role of Kapil Dev in '83 the film which is based on the 1983 World Cup that India won. The movie is directed by Kabir Khan. The movie will also be featuring Deepika Padukone who is playing the role of Romi Dev, Kapil Dev's wife. '83 is scheduled to release in 2020.
