Arjun Kapoor shares emotional post for mom Mona Shourie, says 'she has always got my back'

Bollywood actor Arjun Kapoor shared a throwback photo with his late mother Mona Shourie through his Instagram Stories, on the occasion of Mother's Day 2020

On occasion of Mor's Day on Sunday, an emotional Arjun Kapoor took to his Instagram and shared a status update with a throwback photo of his late mor Mona Shourie. In picture, Arjun Kapoor can be seen in his pre-Bollywood debut avatar where he had chubby cheeks. He wrote an adorable caption for his mor who passed away right before Arjun's Bollywood debut in Ishaqzaade opposite Parineeti Chopra.

Late in evening, Arjun Kapoor shared his emotions through a video on Instagram as he wished 'all amazing souls out re' a happy Mor's Day. In video, it seemed as though  Gunday actor held back his tears as he advised his fans and followers to appreciate, respect, and love ir mors.

He captioned post, "Dealing with Mor’s Day.. Rambling my thoughts out loud. Don’t mind but thoda ajeeb emotional type Sunday tha. Lockdown I can handle lekin Mor’s Day & lockdown toger thoda zyada ho gaya yaar... emotions ko system se bahar nikalte hue, Happy Mor’s Day to all amazing souls out re. Most importantly Happy Mor’s Day Mom miss you always & forever.".

What's next for Arjun Kapoor?

Arjun Kapoor was last seen onscreen in Ashutosh Gowariker's period drama Panipat along with Housefull actor Kriti San. He will be seen next in Dibakar Banerjee's upcoming film Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar along with his Ishaqzaade co-star Parineeti Chopra. film was scheduled to release on March 20, 2020, but has been postponed indefinitely due to COVID-19 pandemic.

Up until lockdown, Arjun Kapoor had been working on Kaashvie Nair's film tentatively titled Chale Chalo along with De De Pyaar De actor Rakul Preet Singh.
