National Award-winning filmmaker, Ashvin Kumar, like many or celebs, has said that he was heartbroken when he heard news of Irrfan Khan's demise. filmmaker h worked with late actor on short film, Ro To Lakh in 2004. In a recent interaction, Ashvin Kumar spoke at length about his experience working with Irrfan Khan.

Ashvin Kumar h written Ro To Lakh with Irrfan Khan in mind

Ashvin Kumar revealed in a recent interaction that he feels “cheated” about Irrfan Khan’s sudden demise. He mentioned that working with Irrfan Khan on ir film, Ro To Lakh changed his outlook towards filmmaking. Ashvin Kumar also recalled how Irrfan Khan h agreed to work on film even with pay since Ashvin h a very limited budget.

While talking about same, Ashvin Kumar also mentioned that he h written Ro To Lakh with Irrfan Khan in mind. He ded how Irrfan Khan instantly agreed to do same and that too “quite willingly”. Ashvin Kumar also recalled how late-actor h met with an accident evening when y were all set to leave for Lakh for shooting.

Ashvin Kumar mentioned that even though Irrfan Khan h all reasons to back out, he still did t do it. Inste, Irrfan Khan told Ashvin Kumar, “I promised you, I will keep my words”. filmmaker mentioned how his miration grew for actor as he got to kw him. Ashvin Kumar mentioned how Irrfan Khan h altitude sickness that he discovered upon reaching location.

However, Irrfan Khan still chose to t give up and inste continued shooting. Ashvin Kumar mentioned how late actor was constantly sick and h an injured wrist. However, he still chose to complete Ro To Lakh and even live inside tents like rest of crew.

Ashvin Kumar also spoke about Irrfan Khan’s craft for cinema and how he was “way ahe of his time”. filmmaker revealed that he wanted to make one more film with actor. Talking about Irrfan Khan’s demise, Ashvin Kumar ded, “I feel cheated” as actor left him too soon.
