Ayshmann Khurrana: Unconventional pairing of the Bala actor in movies

Since Ayushmann Khuarrana’s debut in Vicky Donor, the actor has always been seen in unconventional roles. During the release of Vicky Donor, the concept of sperm donation was unusual. Later, in Hawaizaade was seen trying to make an aeroplane. His other movie, Dum Laga Ke Haisha was also a bit unique as it dealt with the story of a normal boy and an overweighed girl. Now, the duo will be again seen together in Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan, which is a sequel to Shubh Mangal Saavdhan which was released in the year 2017. Ayushmann’s unconventional pairings in his movies

Ayushmann Khurrana, the singer-turned-actor, is currently awaiting the release of Bala co-starring Yami Gautma and Bhumi Pednekar. In an interview with an entertainment portal, Ayushmann once revealed that he thinks he is best suited for unconventional roles. One of the unconventional pairings in his movies is he and Bhumi in Dum Laga Ke Haisha. The film, set in mid-nineties, is a tale about an uneducated Prem (Ayushmann) who is forced to marry Sandhya (Bhumi). A lean Ayushmann was featured opposite overweight Bhumi for the film. Theirs was a classic mismatch.

The Sriram Raghvan directorial Andhadhun also saw an unconventional pairing of Ayushmann with Tabu. The crime-thriller also featured Radhika Apte in the lead role. The film won four awards including Best Director, Best Screenplay at the Screen Awards. The film was inspired by the French short film 'The Piano Tuner' has left the audience confused with its unpredictable and somewhat complex climax.

About Ayushmann’s upcoming flick Bala

Ayushmann’s upcoming movie Bala is set to release in November this year. Helmed by Amar Kaushik, features Yami Gautam and Bhumi Pednekar in the lead roles. The movie revolves around Bala, a man who starts balding prematurely. The issue is faced by a majority of youth these days. Bala will be Ayushmann’s third film this year after Article 15 and Dream Girl. Apart from this, Ayushmann will star in Gulabo Sitabo with Amitabh Bachchan. The shooting of the film is recently wrapped up and it will star Big B and Ayushmann together on screen for the first time.
