Ayushmamnn Khurrana's 'Dream Girl' opens with a bang at the box office
Ayushmann Khurrana's 'Dream Girl' which released on Friday made a heroic start at the box office. It has emerged as the actor's biggest opener to date.

Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana, who is known for his versatility has garnered immense appreciation for his recent outing 'Dream Girl' that has hit the theaters on Friday, September 13. The film which has been lauded widely by the audience and critics made a heroic start at the box office. Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh revealed that the film has attained a remarkable feat emerging as Ayushmann Khurrana’s biggest opener to date.

In a recent Twitter post, Adarsh revealed that 'Dream Girl' has opened with a bang and has collected over Rs. 10 crores on day 1 of its release. He further revealed that Ayushmann Khurrana's 'Dream Girl' has beaten several mid-range films including Vicky Kaushal's much-celebrated 'Uri: The Surgical Strike', 'Luka Chuppi' and Sushant Singh Rajput's latest outing 'Chhichhore'.

Dream Girl
The comedy-drama 'Dream Girl' features Ayushmann Khurrana as a Tele caller who aces his female alter ego Pooja while calling his customers. The film takes interesting turns as his customers eventually fall for him, unaware of his originality and come down to pulling each other's hair. Filmmaker Raaj Shaandilyaa made his directorial debut with 'Dream Girl'. Besides Ayushmann Khurrana, the film also stars Nushrat Bharucha, Annu Kapoor, Manjot Singh, and Vijay Raaz among others in the lead.

Meanwhile, besides 'Dream Girl', Ayushmann Khurrana also has a number of films in the pipeline for release. He will be starring in 'Bala', 'Gulabo Sitabo' and, 'Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan' and all three films are set for a 2020 release.
