Ayushmann Khuranna, crew kick-start promotions of Bala

After giving several blockbuster hits, Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana is all set for his upcoming quirky comedy movie Bala. The movie is directed by Amar Kaushik and is produced by Dinesh Vijan. The story of Bala revolves around a guy who is prematurely balding and how he is coping up with his condition. Bala also stars Bhumi Pednekar who plays the character of a small-town girl. Bhumi’s plays the role of a girl who is against the society which is obsessed with fair skin. The movie also features Yami Gautam.

Ayushmann Khurrana reportedly revealed that the film will portray two-three stages of balding. When he was asked about Bala and the condition of balding he said that it wasn’t possible for him to shave his head for the movie because one day he used to be shooting stage one and the next day he would have to prep for stage two or three and so on, without the flow of natural progression so they had to rely on prosthetics and the makeup team. The actor said that Bala will touch the heart of people who are suffering from the condition of premature balding.

The makers of the movie Bala aims to hit the right chord of the Indian audience, especially men because it shows the journey of a man who has a receding hairline. Even though the condition is completely natural, not many men are comfortable with the idea of balding prematurely. The light tone of the movie hopes to give out an optimistic message about accepting one’s natural self and to be who you are. Loving yourself is the ultimate message that Bala gives out. Directed by Amar Kaushik, Bala also features Bhumi Pednekar, Yami Gautam and Saurabh Shukla among others. The movie is set to be released on November 7, 2019.
