Ayushmann Khurrana's wife Tahira Kashyap opens up on insecurity about his intimate scenes

Many Bollywood actors have a no-kissing or no-intimacy clause for their films. This includes those who are married, those who are unmarried and those who put the clauses after their marriage. However, there have been some like Ayushmann Khurrana who has been open about about it ever since his debut, having performed kissing and intimate scenes in many of his films. However, wife Tahira Kashyap has not been too happy with it over the years. While she was ‘insecure’ about it initially, she now feels that she has ‘transformed’ as she spotted a loophole in an intimate scene in AndhaDhun and even informed the team about it.

When asked on The Love, Laugh, Live Show about Ayushmann shooting for intimate scenes, Tahira shared that she felt insecure when she saw his scene with Yami Gautam in his debut Vicky Donor. However, she said, “Yeah, I was insecure earlier but when I was watching the edits of Andhadhun, I told the team that something is missing in the make out scene between Ayushmann and Radhika Apte. That moment I realized about the transformation, from being an insecure wife to analyzing the make out scenes." Not just Vicky Donor and AndhaDhun, Ayushmann has shot kissing or intimate scenes in his other films like Dum Laga Ke Haisha, Shubh Mangal Saavdhan, Nautanki Saala, Meri Pyaari Bindu and Badhaai Ho. 

AndhaDhun is the same film that had fetched Ayushmann the National Award for Best Actor earlier this year. He had shared the award with Vicky Kaushal. He had played the role of a blind man in the movie, that also starred Tabu. The movie was directed by Sriram Raghavan.

Love goals 

Ayushmann and Tahira keep making headlines for their adorable pictures and posts for each other. A display of this recently was when they celebrated their 11th wedding anniversary a few days ago. Be it fasting for his wife on Karwa Chauth, traditionally where only the wife does so for her husband, or breaking the fast on video call, the couple is known for giving goals. 

Meanwhile, Ayushmann is currently enjoying the success of Bala. The movie has already crossed the Rs 80 crore-mark at the box office. It is expected to touch the Rs 100-crore mark soon in India, though it has done so globally already.
