Amitabh Bachchan is unwell but megastar never misses a chance to update his fans on Twitter. actor stays connected through his blog and social media activities. Sharing a picture from his bed watching football on his television, Bachchan wrote, "see this all day long .. Fowler , precision ups and downs and bends in bed .. TV .. Premier League and .. yeeeeeaaaaahhhhhhh .. a Chelsea win".

He even shared two videos of a commercial he featured in and captioned it taking his health in consideration. He wrote, "अस्वस्थ हैं, बिस्तर पे पड़े हैं ; लेकिन ये चल रहा है ... BIKAJI" [sic] Many fans sent ir prayers for actor's good health and speedy recovery. One fan commented: 'Take Care Amitji. You deserve this "me-time" more than anyone else.", or wrote: "This must be hard for a workaholic person like YOU.. but positive thing is that you're relaxing.." [sic].

Bachchan also penned a blog about how everyone has asked him to slow down. And cracking a joke about same, Bachchan wrote: "so one listens to body .. and many shall re be who will applaud and commit to say .. “ did we t tell you this to slow down” .. Slow down .. ? Thats what you tell vehicle or train on road and track .. so .. what" [sic]
Bachchan regrets missing inaugural ceremony of 25th KIFF
Megastar Amitabh Bachchan on Saturday regretted having missed inaugural ceremony of 25th Kolkata International Film Festival which he had been attending for past six years. Bachchan has been indisposed since Thursday forcing him to cancel his scheduled presence at inaugural function of 25th Kolkata International Film Festival on Friday.

He wrote on his blog, "Sad and in regret to t be able to travel for KIFF to Kolkata .. an event that has invited me for years .. I think w 7 years .. and speech .. glorifying cinema and research by educated assists from dear friends .. gone .. but re is communication established wher I could read it on video and send to m to be played at Closing .."
West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said on Friday, "Amitji comes here every time. But since last night he is t well and doctors asked him t to travel. I got a mess from him this morning about his inability to come. We pray for his long life and good health."
