Bhool Bhulaiya 2 is going to be a horror-comedy featuring Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani. Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan were part of the original, Bhool Bhulaiya. Anees Bazmee is directing the second part of the film. It is scheduled to release on July 31, 2020. Kartik Aaryan is going to play the lead role in the sequel. The actor was recently asked during an interview about how he feels about replacing Akshay Kumar. Kartik Aaryan had an amazing response to this.

Akshay Kumar’s fans were not really happy about Kartik replacing the star. People were tweeting and commenting on their disappointment throughout the internet. In the comedy genre, Akshay Kumar is a legend and is well known for his funny movies. It was very difficult for his fans to digest that he won’t be seen in the second part of Bhool Bhulaiya and that he is being replaced by another actor.

Kartik Aaryan had to face a lot of criticism. Recently, during an interview, the actor responding to the question, said that no one can replace Akshay Kumar as he is one of the nation's finest actors. Kartik also admitted that he is a great fan of Kumar. However, he further added that he is happy that Bhool Bhulaiyya 2 has happened to him.

On the professional front, Kartik Aaryan gave a lot of hit movies in the past. After his back to back hits like Pyaar Ka Punchnama, Luka Chupi, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, he will be soon seen in his upcoming film, Pati Patni Aur Woh. The film is a romantic comedy, which is directed by Mudassar Aziz. Pati Patni Aur Woh is a remake of the 1978 film of the same name. The film stars Kartik Aaryan, Bhumi Pednekar, and Ananya Panday as the lead role.
