Actor-director duo Kartik Aaryan and Anees Bazmee's Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 was off to a good start at box office on its opening day as it collected ₹35.5 crore nett in India. By noon, it has alrey ded nearly ₹20 crore to its kitty, taking total to ₹55 crore plus. Sacnilk reported that afternoon occupancy of film was around 80.51% in Hindi. It led occupancy of Ajay's Singham Again by a good margin of over 15%.

According to Pinkvilla, day two collections of film may land in same range as its opening day business. If that is case, first weekend business of film has a good chance to cross ₹100 crore mark, given Sunday is Bhai Dooj.

On its opening day, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 collected over ₹55 crore worldwide, with its India gross collections turning out to be ₹42.6 crore and overseas collection standing at ₹12.4 crore. Kartik has managed to score his biggest opener to date with third installment of Bhool Bhulaiyaa franchise. As per X reviews, Diwali release offers a good blend of horror and comedy, which makes it a good pick for family audiences.
