Vicky Kaushal’s upcoming movie, Bhoot Part One: The Haunted Ship is said to be released on February 21, 2020. Bhoot Part One: The Haunted Ship is Vicky Kaushal’s first-ever horror genre movie. Surprisingly, it is also the first-ever horror movie he will watch! Yes, you read that right! Vicky Kaushal is super scared of horror films. The Uri actor who played a soldier in his last movie reportedly does not enjoy horror movies.

According to his recent interview with a news daily, he said that this was the first time he is exploring the horror genre and he does not watch scary movies. He said that Bhoot Part One: The Haunted Ship is going to be the first horror film he will watch. Vicky has also told the leading daily that he thinks he has grown up now and should watch them but every time he tries, he still feels scared. This film will be interesting to watch after knowing that the lead actor is himself scared of horror films.

Recently, Vicky Kaushal shared the first look of the movie on his social media. The poster was scary, where we see Vicky drowning along with a ghost trying to pull him down. Vicky Kaushal’s expressions look real in the poster, giving us all a chill down our spines. The movie also stars Bhumi Pednekar and Ashutosh Rana. However, details about their roles are not yet revealed.
Eventually, the release date according to Vicky Kaushal’s Instagram post was in November. However, Karan Johar’s post about the film declares a new release date, February 21, 2020. This is the second project of Karan Johar and Vicky Kaushal, earlier both they had worked together for Netflix film Lust Stories, which has now been nominated for the Emmys.
