His previous release Uri: Surgical Strike was a blockbuster at box office and actor received a lot of appreciation from fans. Vicky Kaushal’s first horror movie experience
In an interview with a leing daily, Vicky Kaushal said that he gets scared a lot. He believes that Bhoot Part One: Haunted Ship, will be first horror film that he will watch. He said that reason behind watching it would be because he is acting in it and kws what will happen. He thinks that he has grown up and can watch horror films, but thing has changed.
Vicky ded that, when he saw last horror film, he realised that films of this genre are me to be viewed toger and t alone. If you have to enjoy a horror film, you have to go to atres and watch it with people, so that you could have a collective feeling of fear. He mentioned that this is in fact what pulls audience in atres. Confessing his fear, he stated that sound and ambience makes a huge difference as spookiness comes from sound. According to him, a horror film is t a horror film without good sound.

Directed by Bhanu Pratap Singh, movie is said to be based on a real incident. Bhumi Pednekar will also be seen in film playing a pivotal role. Producer of film, Karan Johar has anunced that Dharma Productions will be producing a series of horror films under Bhoot franchise. movie was earlier slated to release on vember 15. w date has been pushed to February 21, 2020.
