Vicky Kaushal’s first horror movie experience
In an interview with a leading daily, Vicky Kaushal said that he gets scared a lot. He believes that Bhoot Part One: The Haunted Ship, will be the first horror film that he will watch. He said that the reason behind watching it would be because he is acting in it and knows what will happen. He thinks that he has grown up and can watch horror films, but nothing has changed.
Vicky added that, when he saw the last horror film, he realised that films of this genre are made to be viewed together and not alone. If you have to enjoy a horror film, you have to go to the theatres and watch it with people, so that you could have a collective feeling of fear. He mentioned that this is in fact what pulls the audience in theatres. Confessing his fear, he stated that the sound and ambience makes a huge difference as the spookiness comes from the sound. According to him, a horror film is not a horror film without good sound.
