Akshay Kumar is celebrating his 57th birthday today, September 9 and on this occasion, he has treated his fans with a motion poster of his next movie. The actor has finally announced that he will be returning to the horror comedy genre but not with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. The actor has announced a new project reuniting with director Priyadarshani after 14 years.

Akshay took to his Instagram handle and shared the motion poster of his next movie titled Bhooth Bangla. The video starts with a glimpse of the moon and a black cat’s tail. Followed by Akshay, dressed in a blue suit with a red tie, licking milk from a bowl. He has a quirky expression on his face with a black cat sitting on his shoulders. In the background, we can see a haunted house.

Sharing the motion poster, the actor penned a note in the caption, expressing his happiness on reuniting with the director and calling it a "dream collaboration." He wrote, "Thank you for your love on my birthday, year after year! Celebrating this year with the first look of ‘Bhooth Bangla’! I’m beyond excited to join forces with Priyadarshan again after 14 years. This dream collaboration has been a long time coming… can’t wait to share this incredible journey with you all. The movie will debut on the big screens in 2025. It is presented by Balaji Telefilms Ltd. in association with the Cape of Good Films and is being produced by Akshay Kumar , Shobha Kapoor, and Ektaa R. Kapoor.

Meanwhile, Akshay is awaiting the release of Sky Force directed by Abhishek Anil Kapur and Sandeep Kewlani. The movie is a take on India's retaliatory attack on the Sargodha airbase of Pakistan in the Indo-Pakistani air war of 1965, described as India's first and deadliest airstrike. It is slated to hit the theatres on October 2.
