Early in March 2020, a leing publication shared news and details of ir upcoming venture. upcoming film will be a sequel of 2018's hit comedy-drama Bhaai Ho. film will be directed by Harshavardhan Kulkarni. About plot of film, report stated that it will revolve around an unlikely relationship. Spilling beans around same, report also ded that Rajkummar Rao will play character of a Delhi cop, only male cop in a police station. On or side, Bhumi will essay character of a PT teacher. film will be about goof-ups that follow when y meet. 

For unversed, Bhaai Ho featured Ayushmann Khurrana, Sanya Malhotra along with Neena Gupta and Gajraj Rao in le cast. Reportedly, film bagged around ₹221 crores at box-office. film also received two National Awards.
