Bhumi Pednekar Spills The Beans On Ranveer Singh's Audition For 'Band Baaja Baaraat'

We all know of Bhumi Pednekar, who bowled us over with the acting skills in her very first film 'Dum Laga Ke Haisha' in which she was seen sharing screen space with Ayushmann Khurrana. The actress essayed the role of Sandhya Prem Tiwari, Ayushamann's educated overweight wife. The film was not only appreciated by critics but also impressed the audience and they couldn't stop singing the newcomer's praises. 

And then in Akshay Kumar's 'Toilet: Ek Prem Katha' she was seen in an all new avatar and played yet another strong character in this venture. She has never failed the audience and each time she appears on screen fans are in for a surprise. Talking about her career and filmy journey, the actress recently in a candid chat on the web show 'Feet Up with the Stars' opened up to the host Anaita Shroff Adajania. Among other things she threw light on the days when she used to work with Shanoo Sharma as an assistant casting director for Yash Raj Films.

The 29-year-old actress spoke of Ranveer Singh's debut 'Band Baaja Baaraat', back then she used work on the other side of films. Talking of 'Padmaavat' star's audition, she mentioned how she was intimidated by the fresher. Emphasising on his energy level which remains unchanged she confirmed that his audition was the most exciting one and he owned it even back then.

On the work front, Bhumi will next be seen in an Abhishek Chaubey directorial titled 'Son Chiriya', the movie's poster created a buzz online and also built up curiosity among the audience. In this project she is cast opposite Sushant Singh Rajput, this will also be the first time the two will be seen sharing screen space. And in this one she'll step into the shoes of a dacoit, the first look of the film brought out her fierce side. We are referring to her look as not much about the film is out. 

It was after the wrap that the actress chose to share her look with her fans, she took to her social media account to post the picture of her and here's what she wrote as she shared her look from the film, "As we wrap up this unforgettable journey,Sharing a bit of me from this very special film."
