Bigil box office: Vijay-Nayanthara starrer takes a huge start

The much-anticipated sports drama, Bigil, released worldwide on October 25. The movie, starring Vijay and Nayanthara in the lead, has a strong supporting cast consisting of Jackie Shroff, Yogi Babu and Vivekh. The movie released in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Kerala and has opened to packed theatres in all South Indian states.

According to media reports, the movie had a 90% occupancy on the first day of its release. Reportedly, the movie released in more than 4000 screens across different states. Here are all the details of Vijay starrer Bigil's first day collections.  

Bigil's first day Box office Collection 

According to several media reports, Bigil has taken a massive opening in South India, especially Tami Nadu. The reports state that the movie collected about ₹ 1.80 crores in Chennai circuit. Allegedly, Bigil has managed to collect ₹ 4.2 crores in Andra Pradesh and Nizam circuit. While the exact figures are yet to come, some media reports alleged the first-day collection to be in the range of ₹ 25 crores. Bigil has also managed to garner huge box office occupancy overseas. The official figures for the overseas collection have not been released yet.

The trailer of the Vijay starrer was recently dropped on the internet. It shows Vijay playing the role of a football coach. Reportedly, Bigil has Vijay in dual roles, as a father and a son.
