Bollywood is known to deliver films across all genres in a unique manner. Here is a list of movies that were shot around some famous Indian college campuses.

Bollywood has a huge influence on youth, which is why industry focuses on youth-oriented movies that revolve around complexities faced by young generation in everyday lives. storytelling has evolved over time in terms of writing as well as shooting locations. From shooting on fake sets to using some real-time locations are used to shoot films. Variety of youth-centric movies have been shot at several schools and colleges around India. Here are some of amazing college campuses where some blockbuster movies have been shot.

1: Rang De Basanti:

Rang De Basanti has always been one of iconic films of Aamir Khan. story was based on lives of six friends that assist a foreign film-maker to shoot a documentary on Indian freedom fighters. In course of shooting gang re-lives saga of freedom. saga of freedom and fight for justice was shot in different parts of Delhi University campus.

2: Raanjhanaa:

Raanjhanaa is movie that showcases love of Hindu boy Kundan to his childhood sweeart Zoya. movie also showcases how things change when Zoya gets in Indian Institute of Mass Communication at Jawaharlal Nehru University. political and idealistic environment inside of JNU is showcased perfectly in movie. movie was also shot inside IIMC for a realistic effect.

3: Ishq Vishk:

Shahid Kapoor's movie Ishq Vishk also featured Amrita Rao and Shehnaz Treasurywala besides him in le role. movie was shot at well-kwn Sophia College in Mumbai. movie revolves around lives of Rajiv (Shahid Kapoor), Payal (Amrita Rao) and Alisha (Shehnaz Treasurywala) college students. movie also came up with social issue of molestation.

4: Band Baaja Baaraat:

Band Baaja Baarat was movie that revolved around lives of Shruti and Bittoo. y both wanted to become partners in ir very own wedding planning 'binnes' in Delhi. story showcases ir process from being friends to lovers to finding one ar. movie's famous bre pakora scene was shot at Hansraj College, Delhi University.  song Tarkeebein captures campus ros, boys’ hostel and classroom. A few scenes are also shot inside Ramjas College’s gallery.

5: Munna Bhai MBBS:

most iconic movie Munna Bhai MBBS was shot at large campus of Grant Medical College, Mumbai. most loved scene 'Joo ki Jhappi' that me rounds was captured in campus of same college. t just that scene but even iconic Boman Irani giving a lecture to Munna meeting his childhood love all was shot inside Grant Medical college campus.
