Once upon a Time in Mumbaai

movie was me in 2010. This film focuses on  growth of underworld in Mumbai in late 60s and 70s. storyline revolved around time when  underworld slowly gained grounds in financial capital of country. characters in film reportedly took inspiration from real-life gangsters,Haji Mastan and Dawood Ibrahim. movie has very interesting dialogues and direction of film was incredible.

film throws light on infrastructure of Indian Mafia Organization. This film is perfect example of parallel cinema and was helmed by Ram Gopal Verma. story of film is reportedly based on famous gangsters and crime lords Dawood Ibrahim and Chhota Rajan. story majorly focuses on true events of D-company split and how even Bollywood industry was affected because of it.

Black Friday

Anurag Kashyap's Black Friday was based on a book written by Hussain Zaidi which was based on 1993 Bombay bomb blasts. Even today, city is haunted by that catastrophic 1993 blasts.

This film was considered greatest gangster film of all times upon its release. Though events presented in film were fictional, but characters which were included in films were reportedly encountered by Ram Gopal Verma in real life.

Shootout at Wala

movie was reportedly based on book “Dongri to Dubai” written by Hussain Zaidi. film shed light on table gangster Manya Surve who me a tremendous impact on Mumbai Underworld in ’80s. Manya Surve was encountered by Maharashtra Police in 1982.
