Bollywood film producer and music company owner Champak Jain passed away on Thursday night. He suffered from a brain haemorrhage. Jain owned the music company Venus Records and Tapes. He was best known for backing the 1994 hit movie Main Khiladi Tu Anari. The movie starred Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan, among others. Jain also backed Shah Rukh Khan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan starrer Josh.

Dabangg 2 actor Sonu Sood described Champak Jain to be a ‘noble soul.’ Mika Singh said that he was extremely saddened to hear the news and said that Jain was a great friend of his. He also mentioned that the last film producer was a kind and helpful man. Politician Sanjay Nirupam said that he had a lot of fond memories with the deceased and that he was a gem of a person. He also called Champak Jain a dear friend.

It has been reported that the last rites of Champak Jain will be held today, at 11 am. He was cremated at Santacruz Crematorium, Mumbai. Many Bollywood celebrities have expressed their grief and shock over the news. Politicians and trade analysts too took to their Twitter to write about Champak Jain's sad demise.
