Bollywood has delivered numerous iconic characters to the audience. Many of the masterpieces that gave the ideal hero also feature the most entertaining sidekick characters. Chatur Ramalingam - 3 idiots

The film featuring actors like Aamir Khan, Sharman Joshi, and R. Madhavan in the lead is a comedy-drama that talks about the educational system. Rancho played by Aamir Khan was loved by the audience but debutant Omi Vidya's character Silencer aka Chatur Ramalingam left a lasting impression in the memories of the audience. The way Omi portrayed the character's accent and appearance was praised by the critics and the audience.

Dr Chadha - Vicky Donor

Ayushmann Khurrana's debut film Vicky Donor, also starring Yami Gautami in the lead, was well-received by the audience. The character of an infertility doctor played by Annu Kapoor gained popularity for its witty comic timings and one-liners. He won many hearts for his performance in the film.

Panduranga - Golmaal

Vrajesh Hirjee, an actor who predominantly plays comic characters in films, caught eyeballs for his snake fighting scene in the Rohit Shetty directorial. The love and praise for his character from the audience made him the part of almost all the instalments of the franchise. Whenever he removed his shirt and flaunted his snake tattoo on the screen, viewers laughed uncontrollably.

Bandya - Chup Chup Ke 

Rajpal Yadav has given excellent performance as a comic character in numerous projects like Hungama and Waqt, among others. His character Bandya in the Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor starrer Chup Chup Ke lit up the screen with its appearance and comic timings. His all-rounder character who knows everything from polishing boots to washing clothes maintains the comedy and drama in the film.  

Circuit - Munna Bhai

How can one forget to list Circuit while listing funny sidekicks? Hirani's directorial set the major friendship goals with Munna and Circuit. Arshad Warsi, who played the character of Circuit also won the Filmfare Award for Best Performance in a Comic Role.
