Dangal

Dangal is a blockbuster hit from year 2016 that traces story of Mahavir Singh Phogat and his two daughters Geeta Phogat and Babita Phogat. Geeta and Babita are international wrestlers who represent India and have won medals for country. movie was debut of four actors that played characters of Geeta and Babita- Fatima Sana Shaikh, Sanya Malhotra, Zaira Wasim and Suhani Bhatnagar. movie was directed by Nitesh Tiwari.

Bhaag Milkha Bhaag

movie Bhaag Milkha Bhaag is story of Flying Sikh, Milkha Singh, who is an Indian former track and field sprinter.  movie stars Farhan Akhtar as Milkha Singh, along with Sonam Kapoor, Pavan Malhotra and Yograj Singh. movie looks at trauma that Milkha h to go through because of India-Pakistan partition and n his journey towards becoming sprint superstar of India.

M. S. Dhoni: Untold Story

movie M. S. Dhoni: Untold Story was released in 2016. Chhichhore star Sushant Singh Rajput played character of former Indian captain M. S. Dhoni. movie also stars Disha Patani, Kiara vani, Anupam Kher, and Bhoomika Chawla. movie looked at story of Dhoni, right from his childhood, to his teen, his romantic tie-ups and his time as a railway employee. movie was directed by Neeraj Pandey.

Priyanka Chopra starred in this 2014 biopic Mary Kom. Mary Kom is an Indian boxer, and movie is a chronicle of her life and her struggles. movie also stars Sunil Thapa, Darshan Kumaar and Robin Das. It is an Omung Kumar directed movie.

Soorma

Soorma is story of Sandeep Singh, a professional field hockey player. Sandeep got shot in an accident which left him paralyzed for a year. But his grit and determination resulted in a full recovery and he played for India in year 2010. This courous character is played by Punjabi star Diljit Dosanjh. Taapsee Pannu, Ang Bedi, Vijay Raaz, and Satish Kaushik.

re are many upcoming sports biopics in Bollywood. October 25 will see release of Saand ki Aankh which is story of world’s oldest sharpshooters Chandro and Prakashi Tomar. two will be played by Bhumi Pednekar and Taapsee Pannu respectively. Next will come ’83, which is story of how Indian cricket team was victorious in 1983 ICC World Cup. movie stars Ranveer Singh as n captain Kapil Dev and it is produced by Kabir Bedi.
