The Case
The FIR had been registered after the complaint from Pravin Shyam Sethi at the Pratap Nagar police station on June 17. He had accused the trio of duping him of crores of rupees (Rs 2.5 crore reportedly) on the pretext of the Celebrity Cricket League. The court noted that Boney Kapoor was not directly involved with the case and there was no concrete case regarding the monetary transactions related to the matter. It was noted that Boney Kapoor had never stated that he was directly involved in the case. The other point made was that his name was used for the alleged new investments.
