Boney Kapoor, throughout his Bollywood journey, has produced numerous Bollywood films like Mr.India and Wanted. Boney Kapoor started his career working under legends like Shakti Samanta. His early productions include Hum Paanch and Woh Saat Din. On the occasion of his birthday, here are five movies produced by Boney Kapoor.

Mr.India

Mr. India is one of the most iconic movies in the history of Bollywood. The movie is based on the concept of science and fiction and released on May 25, 1987. It was directorial by Shekhar Kapur. The cast of the movie stars Anil Kapoor and Sridevi in lead roles. Some of the dialogues of the movie were widely appreciated, Mogambo khush hua to name one. The movie was one of the most appreciated works of Boney Kapoor. In 2003, Sridevi received the Filmfare Award for her performance in Mr.India.

Loafer

Loafer released in the year 1996. The movie was directed by David Dhawan and it was produced by Boney Kapoor. The movie stars Anil Kapoor, Juhi Chawla, Kulbhushan Kharbanda in the lead role. It is a story about a man, Ravi Kumar who is considered as the black sheep of his family as he is unemployed. He does not have a stable future and gets himself involved in fights at the drop of a hat. In spite of everything, he has the quality to fight against injustice.

No Entry

One of the most epic comic drama produced by Boney Kapoor, No Entry released on August 26, 2005. The movie was directed by Anees Bazmee. The movie bagged the Filmfare Award for Best Film in 2005. The movie did extremely well at the box office. It was one of the biggest blockbusters of 2005. It also received an award for the Best Film in Producers Guild Film Awards.

Tevar

Tevar hit the screens on January 9, 2015. Arjun Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha starrer Tevar was produced by Boney Kapoor and directed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma. It is a story about an athlete who protects a young woman from an unwanted marriage, in the middle of a lethal unrequited love.

Mom

One of the recent productions of Boney Kapoor, Mom released on July 7, 2017. The movie was directed by Ravi Udyawar. It is a crime thriller based on the story of a mother who fights for her stepdaughter and seeks justice after she was brutally mistreated by some boys.  Late actor Sridevi, who was in the lead role in the movie, received the award for Best Actress in the 65th National Filmfare Award. The movie did moderately well at the box office.
