Bypass Road is the first movie to be released under Neil Nitin Mukesh's production house. The movie is reportedly the first of its kind home invasion movie in the Hindi film industry. The first song from the movie was recently released on the T-series YouTube channel. Bypass Road will be the debut of Neil's younger brother Naman Nitin Mukesh as a director. The song released of the movie was So Gaya Yeh Jahan.

This song is a remake of the song titled So Gaya Yeh Jahan from the 1989 movie, Tezaab. The song was originally created by Nitin Mukesh, Neil's father. It in that song, we could see Anil Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit, and Chunky Panday in prominent roles. The stars were on a road trip as the song plays in the film Teezaab.

Later, the song was recreated for Ayushmann Khurrana’s 2013 movie Nautanki Saala. In this song, we could see Ayushmann Khurrana and Kunaal Roy Kapur dancing to the remade version of the song. The reincarnated version of the song for Bypass Road is sung primarily by Jubin Nautiyal with Nitin Mukesh providing additional vocals. Apart from being the leading man, Neil has written the story, the screenplay, and the dialogues for Bypass Road. While speaking at the trailer launch, Neil shared that people want to see something new or out of the box every time and that is what he wants to do so that he can attract an audience. He added that when the story for this film came to his mind, his thought was that no one in the Hindi film industry has tried such a genre before. He also went on to say that the concept of home invasion is a very popular genre in international films and has not been explored by Indian cinema. He also says that the movie is a going to be a thriller and he anticipates positive reaction to the movie. The movie is set to release on November 1, 2019.
