Bypass Road trailer: Neil Nitin Mukesh, brother team up for a thriller

12 years ago, Neil Nitin Mukesh had shot to fame with Sriram Raghavan’s critically acclaimed Johnny Gaddaar, which earned him critical acclaim, and a nomination for Best Debut at all awards. The actor didn’t win the awards because Ranbir Kapoor, despite the dud Saawariya was hailed as the ‘best next thing’, and since then, their career and popularity have followed different paths. While one thriller did a lot for Neil, the ‘Saaho’ star will be pinning his hopes on another thriller, Bypass Road, not just as an actor, but also as a writer, and not just for himself, but also for his brother Naman Nitin Mukesh. The trailer of the movie hit social media on Monday and promises to be a gripping whodunnit tale.

The story of Bypass Road is about Neil Nitin Mukesh’s character who is in love with a model, played by Shama Sikandar. She dies under mysterious circumstances, and the accident also renders him to a wheelchair. His family, father played by Rajit Kapur, stepmother, essayed by Gul Panag, also play a part in this story. His girlfriend, played by Adah Sharma and other characters like Sudhanshu Pandey and Inspector Manish Chaudhari too get involved as people fall from buildings, cars topple and a masked killer is out to get them all.

Bypass Road has been written by Neil Nitin Mukesh and directed by Naman Nitin Mukesh. Neil is also one of the producers of the movie along with Sonal Deshpande and Madan Paliwal.The movie is gearing up for release on November 1. 

Incidentally, Neil has featured in numerous films of thriller genre over the course of his career, apart from his first and latest. The other movies include Aa Dekhen Zara, Players, David, 3G, Wazir and more.

Neil Nitin Mukesh’s recent film

Neil Nitin Mukesh had featured in Saaho earlier this year. He had played the role of one of the gangsters, alongside Jackie Shroff and others. The movie did good business at the box office, reportedly over Rs 350 crore worldwide. The movie had starred Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor in lead roles.
