Anti-CAA protests: Ajay Devgn says 'Dabangg 3' affected, calls for 'debate, not violence'

Reacting to the anti-CAA protests, Ajay Devgn said that the box office collections of 'Dabangg 3' were affected. He also called for 'debate, not violence'.

Ajay Devgn too condemned protests, some of which have taken a violent turn. He stated that government has right to take any decision y feel is beneficial for country, and citizens too can express ir opposition to it. He, however, asked for ‘debate, t violence.’ 

In a recent interview with a news portal, Ajay Devgn stated that protests h affected collections of Dabangg 3. Earlier, tre reports h confirmed that box office performance of Salman Khan-starrer could’ve been much more, h it t been for protests.

On unrest over  CAA, Raid star ded that we live in a democracy, where establishment has right to take a decision on anything it felt was good or b for country. He said this was because people h given m this power by electing m.

Ajay felt that, however, anyone t convinced with it, too have right to raise ir voice and make mselves heard. actor said one can ‘agree to disagree’. He continued that matters can be ‘sorted out’ and that re should debate and a conversation in such situations, violence was t answer to it.

Anti-CAA protests 

 protests against  CAA h started in universities of country. Later, it spre to various or parts of nation. Violence was witnessed at various places, with torching of buses, trains and or public property dominating helines for last few days.
