Cargo looks like one-of-a-kind film wherein makers of movie will be seen experimenting with a popular genre. This is first time that a film on a ship will be me in India. film features actors Vikrant Massey and Shweta Tripathi in pivotal roles. movie is officially selected for screening at MAMI- Mumbai film festival. Shweta Tripathi took to her Instagram to share a teaser of movie.

In teaser, it is revealed that Vikrant plays character of Prahastha. Prahastha is a demon operating 'Post Death Transition' service on a ship called Pushpak 634A, which is orbiting earth. Shweta reportedly plays role of his colleague who is an astronaut. Cargo is directed by Arati Kav and produced by Shlok Sharma, Anurag Kashyap, Arati Kav and Navin Shetty.

While speaking to a media house, Arati stated that movie revolves around story of a ship that comes close to earth each morning and waits for deceased. ship is also an immigration office for de. She also stated that each detail of movie is thoroughly planned. She concluded by saying that world is shown in zero gravity to make it look more realistic. Apart from directing and producing movie, Kav has also written movie Cargo. Screening of this movie will reportedly be held during MAMI film festival on October 18 and 19 this year.
