Shooting at exotic locations and using some of the most expensive but iconic cars are some of the tropes used by filmmakers. Bollywood movies have witnessed a lot of amazing machinery scorch the silver screen.

1. Toyota Supra Mark IV (A80)

The Toyota Supra needs no introduction to whatsoever. The iconic Japanese car achieved pop-culture immortality with its appearance in the Fast and Furious film franchise. In Bollywood also, the Mark IV Supra has appeared in quite a few films. In Abbas-Mustan's 2008 thriller, Race, a 1993 Toyota Supra is seen in the climactic car chase, driven by the antagonist Akshaye Khanna. The Toyota Supra also appears in the 1999 Salman Khan-Karisma Kapoor comedy-drama, Biwi No. 1.

2. Toyota MR2

Toyota manufactured a lineup of three performance sports cars- the Celica, the MR2 and the Supra. The MR2 was the abbreviation for the name- Midship Runabout 2-seater. It was a mid-engined sports car sold by Toyota from 1984 to 2007. In Bollywood movies, the MR2 has appeared quite a lot. Its' most appearance would be in the song, Dilbara, from the 2004 actioner, Dhoom.

3. Mitsubishi 3000GT

The Mitsubishi 3000GT/GTO was a front-engine, all-wheel-drive sports car developed and manufactured by Mitsubishi Motors. It was built from 1990 to 2000. The 3000GT was undoubtedly one of the most amazing and underrated Japanese cars of its era. In the 2017 Rohit Shetty film, Golmaal Again, actors Parineeti Chopra and Shreyas Talpade are seen riding atop the car during the opening theme song.

4. Nissan Skyline R34

The Nissan Skyline is another nameplate that is as legendary as the Toyota Supra. It was Nissan's premier performance sports car and became popular with its appearance in the Gran Turismo video games and the Fast and Furious franchise. The Skyline R34 appeared in the climax of the 2008 film, Race, driven by Saif Ali Khan.
