While the designer is known for her sartorial fashion choices, a little earlier this year, she faced the ire of fans, netizens, and viewers when a video surfaced. In the video, she was seen suggested 'no plunging necklines' for 'plus-size brides' When asked what would she say to all the plus-size brides when they are picking up a wedding lehenga, Falguni Peacock in an interaction with a lifestyle channel said: "I won't blatantly tell her to lose weight, but you have enough time and you can work on yourself. It is pretty easy to lose a couple of inches if you want to." When further asked what all should they keep in mind, Falguni said: "Long blouses, more flared lehengas and not fitted because fitted won't really work when you’re a little big. No deep necks for them maybe higher."
