Despite a 42.59% increase in earnings on the second day, the two-day total remains modest, which is not reflective of the film's potential. A double-digit figure on the second day would have put Chandu Champion in a more favourable position.

With two more days - Sunday and Monday - ahead, there is still a chance for the film to capitalise on its critical acclaim and audience appreciation to achieve higher numbers before the weekdays start. However, Chandu Champion faces stiff competition from Munjya, which is performing exceptionally well and capturing a significant portion of the market share.

In a press note following the first day's results, the makers expressed their satisfaction with the film's reception, stating, 'It's indeed a good start for the film, and given the buzz and excitement generated by the strong word of mouth, we expect the film's collection to increase over the weekend.'"

Chandu Champion faces competition from Munjya

Despite extensive promotions, Chandu Champion faces stiff competition from the supernatural thriller Munjya, which has been a sleeper hit. On its ninth day, Munjya earned about ₹6.5 crore, just a few numbers than Chandu Champion on the same day. Munjya managed to make Rs 4 crore on its first day despite limited marketing and the absence of major stars.
