Chhaava: Looks like second half of 2024 is going to be a treat for movie buffs. After back-to-back release of Stree 2, Khel Khel Mein and Vedaa, teaser of Chhaava was officially unveiled. It stars Vicky Kaushal, Akshaye Khanna and Rashmika Mandanna.

Helmed by Laxman Utekar, film is based on life of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, eldest son of Maratha empire’s founder and great warrior king, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.

film also stars Rashmika Mandanna, as Yesubai Bhonsale, wife of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. film will primarily focus on Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj’s sacrifice, and his strategies for warfare, it will also explore a love angle between Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj and his wife, Yesubai Bhonsale. Akshaye Khanna essays role of Mughal emperor Aurangzeb.

Vicky Kaushal shares important details about Chhaava

In an interview with Pinkvilla,  actor opened up about his next film and said that it's a period drama but y are making it "very seriously".  It will be high on emotions, actions and drama. He said, "It's a period drama but we are making it very seriously and re is a lot of action in it; Lot of drama in it; Very high on emotions and it really is a spectacular story."

When asked about wher he had ever considered becoming an action hero, to this, he said that he "enjoys doing action a lot". He added, "Like I crave that I get more opportunities to do action. In Uri I got that opportunity and I really enjoyed myself". He n assured audience that his next film Chhaava would be "leaded with action”.
