Vikrant Massey not a new face for the Indian audience. He was seen in many daily soaps and short films before joining the Hindi film industry. He will be seen in the upcoming movie Chhapaak where Deepika Padukone will be playing the lead role of Malti (Laxmi Agarwal), an acid attack survivor. The movie is set to release on January 10, 2020. Here are a few of Vikrant Massey previous roles you might remember him from.
Mirzapur
Fans know him from his role in Mirzapur as Bablu Pandit, the young brother of Guddu Pandit and the son of lawyer Ramakant Pandit. He joins the forces with Kaleen as an accountant and a don. At the end of the series, he was ruthlessly killed by Munna Tripathi, and both the brothers crossed lines. Munna was sent to kill both the brothers, but Guddu escapes. The show is available on Prime Video. The second season will be releasing in 2020.
Made in Heaven
In this OTT series, we see Vikrant in one episode, where he plays the role of Nawab Khan. This series is about Tara and Karan, who are wedding planners based in Delhi. The storyline is about a 'big fat Indian wedding' revealing many secrets and lies. It showcases the supposedly liberal fabric of the upper crust. It also unravels the truth as the wedding planning duo navigates through arranged marriages, dowry transactions, and virginity tests.
Half Girlfriend
In this movie, we see Vikrant as a friend of Madhav (Arjun Kapoor). This movie is based on a book written by Chetan Bhagat. In this movie, Vikrant plays the role of Shailesh, who helps Madhav in his college life and then in his adult life. He helps Madhav get a sanction from Bill Gates to build a school in his town and villages nearby. Madhav also stays with Shailesh for his time in New York.
