Chhapaak vs Tanhaji leads to Congress vs BJP at theatres; Raveena Tandon has quirky take

As Deepika's Chhapaak and Ajay's Tanhaji released, Congress and BJP supported the respective films. Raveena Tandon quipped how it was beneficial for Bollywood.

Though re has t been any b blood between Deepika Pukone and Ajay Devgn as ir films released this weekend, it seems political parties are picking sides. After former’s visit to Jawaharlal Nehru University amid debate over ‘solidarity vs promotions’, actor and movie has suddenly got her ‘affiliated’ with Congress.

On one hand, as Congress leers praised Deepika,  Bharatiya Janata Party leers didn't seem to take her standing with same level of enthusiasm.

Raveena Tandon h a quirky take on it, quipping how battle between two parties was eventually turning out to be beneficial for both films and thus money was coming into industry. actor, who was recently booked for hurting religious sentiments with her appearance on a show, also seemed to hint at case.  Mohra star urged her followers to see it in a ‘lighter vein’ and that she intended  controversy or ‘hurting of any sentiments.’
