Priyanka Chopra Jonas to donate $100,000 to women 'going the distance'; lists PM-CARES too
As the world battles COVID-19, Priyanka Chopra Jonas announced that she is donating $100,000 to four women 'going the distance' amid the worldwide crisis.

While mess of ‘stay at home’, isolation and quarantine are being spread across, many have been risking ir lives in battle against COVID-19. In India, some members of this section were hailed with a nationwide tribute on Janta Curfew day, when people came out at ir windows and balconies and expressed ir gratitude by clapping for m. w, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, who had also participated in act, plans to take on from gesture, by donating $100,000 for four women who are ‘going distance’ amid worldwide crisis.

Priyanka termed current situation as a ‘ crazy time’ while hoping her fans are doing safe as she made anuncement on Instagram. Mary Kom star revealed that she was supposed to launch a promotional campaign with a brand in next few weeks, but said, “Considering where world is today, it’s t right time to do that.”

She added, “So we decided to help and bring hope to people who need it at this time. I kw we can’t solve this problem on our own, but even smallest gestures make such a big difference, so donating 100,000 dollars in total to women who are rising above everything thrown ir way, because when a woman puts her mind on something, she has power to heal and change world, So if re’s a woman who’s going distance in se difficult times, wher she is a member of service industry, large companies or small business owner or someone fighting on frontlines, minate her, we want to highlight her story and commemorate her.”
