The motion poster of Salman Khan starrer Dabangg 3 released today. The film is directed by Prabhu Deva and is produced by Arbaaz Khan and Dhilin Mehta. Sonakshi Sinha is reprising the role of ‘Rajjo’ in this installment of the Dabangg franchise. The actor is extremely excited about the film as 'Rajjo' was the first-ever character that she played on the big screen.

It has been ten years since the first film of the ‘Dabangg’ series released. The film was a blockbuster and manages to have a huge fan following till date. Dabangg has been very close to Sonakshi Sinha, in a recent event, the Akira actress was seen getting nostalgic about her first film. According to Sonakshi, it was while doing this film, that she realised that acting was what she wanted to do for the rest of her life. The actress was asked to transform herself by losing weight for the role of ‘Rajjo’.

Rajjo's first look
Sonakshi Sinha shared a picture of herself as Rajjo on her official Instagram handle. She expressed how delightful she is to work with Prabhu Deva again. The director has collaborated with Sonakshi in the past and has delivered hits like R…Rajkumar and Rowdy Rathore. She believes that the actor/director is the best when it comes to making ‘masala films’. The film will also feature actors like Mahi Gill, Mouni Roy, and Mahesh Manjrekar in supporting roles.
Sonakshi recently confirmed the release date of Dabangg 3. The movie is all set to release on the 30th of December this year. The crew finished shooting a part of the film in Rajasthan a few days back. “Dabangg 3 releases in December. It will be my last release of the year. I have done four films this year and I am very excited for Dabangg 3. Today is the ninth anniversary of Dabangg. It has been nine years since its release. These movies will always be special.”, Sonakshi said.
