Dabangg 3 is one of the most-awaited movies of the year. It is the third installment in the Dabangg franchise. The lead cast is Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha in the series. Actors who played supporting roles in Dabangg films

Arbaaz Khan

Salman Khan’s real brother Arbaaz Khan plays the role of his reel brother in the films. Arbaaz is seen as Makhanchand Pandey, stepbrother of Chulbul Pandey, played by Salman Khan. The first movie saw hatred between the brothers which turns into love by the end of the movie. Arbaaz Khan not only reprised his role in the second film but also directed it. 

Dimple Kapadia

Naini Pandey, mother of Chulbul and Makhanchand was played by Dimple Kapadia in Dabangg. The movie showed her as a woman who constantly tries to bridge the emotional distance between her first son and his stepfather and brother. Her character dies in the first instalment. However, Dimple is said to reprise her role in Dabangg 3 as it apparently reveals a different plot that happened earlier.

Mahesh Manjrekar

Mahesh Manjrekar played Haria, father of Rajjo who was played by Sonakshi Sinha. Haria was a liquor addict. He was seen only in the first part as he dies in the movie. Mahesh Manjrekar’s hilarious and emotional performance received a lot of appreciation from critics and fans alike. Reportedly, he will also reprise his role in Dabangg 3.

Mahie Gill

His love interest in both the films was Nirmala, played by Mahie Gill. Dabangg showed the love story between Makkhi and Nirmala. However, Mahie had less screen time on-screen in Dabangg 2 as she was seen for a shorter period as Nirmala.

Malaika Arora

The chartbuster song Munni Badnaam from Dabangg features Malaika Arora as Munni. She appeared in an item song for the film as a dancer. Maliaka's dance with Salman, who was her real-life brother-in-law at that time, was an instant hit among the fans. 

Kareena Kapoor Khan

After the success of an item number in the first movie, the makers made a new one for Dabangg 2. It was Fevicol Se featuring Kareena Kapoor Khan. Salman and Kareena’s on-screen pair received much praise from their fans. Kareena’s dance moves helped the song become a chartbuster and has 130+ million views on YouTube.

Vinod Khanna

Late veteran actor Vinod Khanna played Prajapati Pandey, Chulbul's stepfather. The relationship between them was sour in Dabangg, where they rejected each other’s company at the start. But similar to the brothers' storyline, the stepfather-step son duo mended their relationship at the end of the first movie. After the sad demise of Vinod Khanna, his brother Pramod Khanna will play the role of Prajapati Pandey in Dabangg 3.
