Deepika Padukone is one of the few actors who has stayed on top of their game consistently over the years. Deepika was last seen in the Sanjay Leela Bhansali-directed historical drama Padmaavat. She is now gearing up for the release of her next film, Chhapaak, based on the life of acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal. 1. Chandni Chowk to China (2009)

The film starred Akshay Kumar and Deepika Padukone in leading roles. Chandni Chowk To China was the first time that Deepika Padukone played a double role. The film was American production company Warner Bros Pictures’ first film in India. Chandni Chowk To China is one of Deepika’s worst-rated movies in her entire career. Movie rating websites like IMDB rated the movie 4 out of 10.

2. Lafangey Parindey (2010)

The Deepika Padukone and Neil Nitin Mukesh starrer received a mere 5.2 rating out of 10 on IMDB. Deepika plays the role of a girl who is blinded by an accident. Lafangey Parindey drew its inspirations from the 1978 American film, Ice Castles and 1999 Tamil film, Thullada Manamum Thullum. The romantic drama film was directed by Pradeep Sarkar and produced by Yash Raj Films.

3. Break Ke Baad (2010)

Break Ke Baad starred Deepika Padukone and Imran Khan in leading roles. The film revolved around the love story of two childhood friends. The film rated 5.2 on IMDB also marked the directorial debut of Danish Aslam. The film received mixed reviews from critics, while some claimed that the screenplay of the movie was flawed.

4. Finding Fanny (2014)

Finding Fanny followed the journey of five dysfunctional friends who were out on a road trip. The film was directed by Homi Adajania and starred Deepika Padukone, Arjun Kapoor, Naseeruddin Shah, Dimple Kapadia, and Pankaj Kapur in lead roles. The film was rated 5.8 out of 10 on IMDB. Finding Fanny did fairly well at the box office.

5. Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey (2010)

The Deepika Padukone and Abhishek Bachchan starrer was an action, adventure film directed by Ashutosh Gowariker. Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey was based on Manini Chatterjee’s book, Do And Die. It was based on the events of the Chittagong Uprising. The film was rated 5.9 on IMDB. In spite of positive reviews by critics, the film saw a very poor run at the box office.
