Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone is busy promoting her movie Chhapaak, which is slated to release in January next year. actor and entire team of movie have been promoting movie in several parts of India. However, it has been recently revealed that entire team of Chhapaak including Deepika Padukone and director Meghana Gulzar will t be going to Delhi to promote ir upcoming movie.

It has been reported that Deepika Padukone and Meghana Gulzar were at an event in Delhi where two revealed news. In statement, Deepika and Meghana have said that y believe that it will be insensitive to promote ir film in Delhi. y added that considering emotional upheaval and unrest that nation has been going through, promotion of movie seemed insensitive to m. y added that y pray for peace and harmony and that y regret inconvenience caused by ir absence. y urged ir fans in Delhi to understand ir decision.

During trailer launch of movie, Deepika Padukone got emotional as she saw herself portray role for first time. She spoke about an array of topics during launch including issues that she faced while essaying role. Deepika Padukone was also heard saying that just because a movie carries a heavy mess, it doesn't mean that movie will t be entertaining.

Chhapaak is based on true-life story of a teenr who falls prey to an acid attack. Her attackers throw acid on her face and scar her face for rest of her life. story is an emotional one and had Deepika Padukone in tears at trailer launch. Chhapaak stares Vikrat Massey opposite Deepika Padukone. movie is directed by Meghana Gulzar. movie is slated to hit atres on January 10, 2020.
