Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are giving relationship goals to fans with their endearing statements about each other and no one denies their great chemistry. According to sources, the couple became the talk of the town back in August 2012. With all hint-dropping and paparazzi-spotting, their love was evident. 

First movie project together

They starred together in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela in 2013. Deepika allegedly expressed how she thought him to be ‘too loud’ and ‘attention-seeking’ before knowing him. As time passed, this duo gave fans adorable moments with their confessions about how important they are to each other.

The Gully Boy actor tried to close the distance between them on several occasions when Deepika was out for longer periods of time during a shoot. He is visible in a small cameo of Finding Fanny. Deep-Veer's love always made headlines. In October 2015, the couple got on the Dubsmash and created a cute 'you’re-my-best-friend' video of them. From Ganpati celebrations at Ambani’s residence to casual hang-outs, their bond deepened. The couple got married on November 14 and 15, 2018 at Italy’s magnificent Lake Como. The wedding receptions were held in Bengaluru and Mumbai. Deepika Padukone looked drop-dead gorgeous in all the ensembles she wore for different occasions across their wedding celebrations.

First project after marriage

The Simmba actor and the Padmaavat actor are collaborating for their first project after marriage in Kabir Khan’s ’83. Ranveer will essay former Indian Cricket Team captain Kapil Dev, and Deepika will play his wife, Romi Devi. ’83 is slated to release on April 10, 2020. Deepika Padukone is also gearing up for her next film Chhapaak. Directed by Meghna Gulzar, Chhapaak is based on the life of an acid attack survivor, Laxmi Agarwal.
