Deepika Padukone fangirling over Season 3 of 'The Crown' is all of us

Bollywood actor Deepika Padukone is very active on social media. The actor loves posting about what she does and keeps her fans updated with her favourite movies and series too. Deepika Padukone recently posted a story on her Instagram handle where she is seen going gaga about the third season of the Netflix series, The Crown. The actor also wrote a few lines in the story on Instagram, where she said that she cannot believe that this is happening.

Deepika on her connection with Princess Diana

Deepika Padukone expressed her views on The Crown, where she said that it was her favourite show to binge-watch. Earlier when Deepika marked 20 million on Twitter, she celebrated this milestone with her fans by answering some of their questions. Where one of her fans asked, If you could meet anyone in the world, dead or alive, who would it be and what would you say to them? And her reply to that was she would love to meet Princess Diana. She said that she was a little girl and never got to meet her but she felt a strange connection and she radiated warmth and humility.

The latest season of Netflix origin The Crown premiered on Sunday, November 17. This is the third instalment of the franchise. The show boasts a stellar star cast of Olivia Coleman, Helena Bonham Carter, Josh O’Conner, Erin Doherty, and Tobias Menzies. The series is based on true events on the life of the Royal household, majorly on the life of Queen Elizabeth II. The series unfolds the lesser-known facts about the Queen.

Deepika Padukone was recently in the news as she celebrated her first anniversary with her husband Ranveer Singh. The couple visited the Venkateswara temple in Andhra Pradesh and Golden temple in Amritsar to seek the blessings of God. On the work front, Deepika will be seen starring in Meghna Gulzar’s upcoming film Chhapaak where she will be seen playing the role of an acid attack survivor.
