On September 8, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh took to their Instagram accounts to share a joint post announcing the birth of their daughter. They shared the news in a post that read, “Welcome baby girl” followed by today's date and undersigned by the actor's names. As soon as they made the announcement, actors like Alia Bhatt , Ananya Panday, Parineeti Chopra and several others shared their good wishes. 
 

Alia Bhatt , who herself is a mother to a baby girl - Raha, took to the comment section to share a bunch of emoticons. Kriti Sanon, Shraddha Kapoor and Malaika Arora wrote, “Congratulationssss". Ananya Panday, who is basking in the success of her recent show Call Me Bae, mentioned, “Baby girl! 🥹❤️ Congratulations🧿🕺🏻❤️” Gauahar Khan, who welcomed a baby boy last year, wrote, “Too good ! God bless ❤️ n so it begins . Welcome to parenthood” Among other celebrities who wished the couple were Jackky Bhagnani, Reha Kapoor and Maheek Kapoor. 

Deepika Padukone - Ranveer Singh are yet to announce the name of their baby girl 

Deepika Padukone and her actor husband Ranveer Singh have become proud parents to a baby girl. On September 7, the actress was admitted to the H. N. Reliance Hospital in the Girgaon area of Mumbai. Prior to her delivery, on Friday, the actress, her husband and their families paid a visit to the Siddhivinayak Temple in Mumbai. With Ganeshotsav starting on Saturday, the families perfectly timed the delivery to welcome the baby on the auspicious day.

Deepika and Ranveer announced her pregnancy in February 2024. As per media reports, the actress was said to be in her second trimester in February. The couple shared a post announcing their pregnancy. The post read, "September 2024”. with cute motifs of baby clothes, baby shoes and balloons. Ranveer and Deepika got married in November 2018 at a private and intimate ceremony at Lake Como.
