When celebrities split with their partners, they often make the announcement on social media. Even Deepika Padukone did so on Wednesday, but the partner, in this case, was not Ranveer Singh. The partner was special nonetheless since the actor had an amazing time with it. Deepika revealed she was 'parting ways' with her designer bag and was not pleased one bit.
Deepika on Wednesday shared a video on Instagram where she is seen addressing a lavender designer bag, “Listen, I know we've had an amazing time." She then continues, "It's time for us to part ways." The actor is then seen kissing the bag and even hugging it. The video concludes with the hashtag #comingsoon, and it’d be interesting to know what the video is all about. Watch the video
From the looks of it, it could be related to some advertisement for a brand. Of late, the advertisers are employing smart promotional ideas to create the maximum impact for their products. One example of this was when Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani had indicated to be ‘engaged’ with their posts on social media, before it turned out to be a promotional trick for a beverage brand. Kartik Aaryan and Tara Sutaria too were spotted wearing a T-shirt with the word ‘Engaged’ on it, though there is no clarity on what it was till now.
If it is an advertisement for the designer bag, then why would she part ways with it? The answer could be unveiled in the next few days.
Professional front
Meanwhile, on the professional front, Deepika Padukone will be seen in two films over the next few months. She will be seen in Chhapaak, that hits the theatres on January 11. The movie, directed by Meghna Gulzar, is the adaptation of the life of acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal. The movie also stars Vikrant Massey.
Deepika will then be seen in ‘83 opposite her husband Ranveer Singh. While Ranveer plays the role of World-Cup winning Captain Kapil Dev, Deepika plays the role of Kapil Dev’s wife Romi Dev in the movie. ‘83’ is being directed by Kabir Khan and is the story of India’s historic World Cup victory in 1983.
