1. Chennai Express

2013 release action-comedy drama has to be one of Deepika's funniest roles. In movie, Deepika is portraying role of a South Indian girl Meenalochni "Meenamma" Azhagusundaram. girl is being forced to marry her far's friend Thangaballi. While escaping in train, she finds Shah Rukh Khan (Rahul) who helps her. While movie ends up being Meenamma's and Rahul's love story, hilarious journey and crazy arguments between two are unmissable. Her South Indian accent in movie was flowing naturally and did t seem forced at all.

2. Happy New Year

Happy New Year marked Deepika Pukone's third movie with Shah Rukh Khan. Released in  2014, movie is about diamond robbery that Shah Rukh Khan (Charlie) and his squ are planning. In movie, Deepika is essaying character of a dancer, Mohini Joshi, who joins squ unaware of gang's plans. Mohini is a girl who is easily impressed by Shah Rukh Khan whenever he speaks in English.
