Deepika Padukone Switching From Heels To Sneakers On The Dance Floor At Her Reception Is What Every Girl Will Relate To

The celebrations to the grand wedding of Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone concluded in style with the reception in Mumbai on Saturday, 1 December. The newlyweds’ first pictures, their delighted poses for the cameras, the arrival of the stars galore and all the moments of dancing and enjoying at the event are all making headlines.

But there was something interesting in one of the inside pictures of the bride along with Karisma Kapoor and her cousin Aadar Jain. Deepika who dazzled in a shimmery red thigh-high slit gown had worn matching heels. However, the actress let go of the footwear, later on, to switch to sneakers. Dancing with high heels is not impossible and many dancers across the world have displayed it, but it seems it was safety over style for the ‘Cocktail’ star. 

Previously, another Bollywood reception had made headlines for the newlywed’s sneakers. Anand Ahuja, a self-confessed sneakerhead, choosing the particular shoes after his wedding to Sonam Kapoor had similarly made headlines.

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh had got married in Lake Como, Italy on 14 and 15 November according to Konkani and Sindhi rituals. Before this Mumbai reception, they also held celebratory gatherings at Bengaluru and two other events in Mumbai.
